VHF Amplifiers

With 22 watts drive you get 475 watts out

These amplifiers can be driven further, however I conservatively tested them to about 500watts output.

They are capable of more, however I limited the tests to about 500 watts output.

These were designed for 140 to 150MHz operating class AB and C, user controlled by varying bias input from 10 to 24 VDC.

I have tested them at 24-25 VDC using two computer 80plus Gold switching supplies capable of 12V @ 53A with excellent results.

As a side note: these supplies in parallel provided about 25VDC @ 53A for about $120, make sure they are 80plus type,

the reason being, they are high efficiency and very clean.

Back to the amps, I have three of the units using four MRF-175GV for sale, what you get is the amp mounted on a 3/8" plate.

Heat sink in the pictures is not included, please see pictures below.

If there is no interest during the next week, these will be placed on Ebay.  Asking $350 for each, buyer pays shipping.
